I just had the opportunity to tour a couple of our tour cities in Colombia and I was lucky enough to meet some of our female clients. I can't tell you how rewarding it is to walk down the street with our manager and pass by woman after women who are members. The manager knows them by name and they embrace and exchange hellos and then she introduces me. The women light up at the opportunity to meet me and ask when I am going to find her the right man. They are so open, passionate and hopeful of meeting someone. Of course I ran into some women who are engaged and they thanked me for helping them to find their special someone. Unfortunately, I cannot take much of the credit, the real credit belongs to the office managers and staff who work with these women day in and day out helping them to get their profiles on line, helping them to send letters to men, translating their correspondence,. etc. etc. They really do work hard and they are the ones that should be thanked for any successes.

It was also interesting that I got to run into a lot of our past clients that are in Colombia. One client told me that he had gone on our St. Petersburg tour about 13 years ago or so and I recognized him from that tour because I was the leader. He then said that he came on the Cartagena, Colombian tour about 10 years ago and is still with the same woman today! I then met another client who has been on a couple of our tours and decided to come to Cartagena to date some of the women he had met in the past and he wound up dating the same woman for the entire week that he was there. Any time that I come to one of our tour cities I always run into past clients who are back either with their wife's and sometimes children (that happened twice last year when I was in Odessa) or to get to know the women better they met the first time.

I have to say that it is a very special and rewarding feeling knowing that we at A Foreign Affair had something to do with these introductions and marriages. I think the people who work for A Foreign Affair are very special. Whether it is the staff in the Phoenix office or those at our 16 offices world-wide, they spend their days doing their best to give both the men and the women who use our service every opportunity to meet and be successful. All you have to do is walk down the streets in any of our tour cities and you will find evidence of couples that have met and are together because of their efforts!

OK, I will get off my soap box now, but I am going to do a show very soon about Colombia, especially Cartagena and Barranquilla, because - guys - you don't know what you're missing. Not only are the cities amazing and only a short hour drive apart, but you will never forget the women you will meet here in Colombia. More on this subject during the next webcast.
